And I didn’t cease to pray: “May God save him!” Now, when the bull struck him with its horn, the horn pierced him in the eye. I said: “He’s dead...” When I finally reached the boy, I found that the bull had merely scratched him: the child was bawling and not in his right mind. When the people heard my prayers, they rushed from their houses’ (CSOL III 15:7)
