a. énkaˁ ḥe ˁag šáhid kor yešhád šeʸh wa-tóˀo gédaḥ šáhid  di-máḥkamaʰ kor yešhád aḷ-šébde heʸh kor yíbod ḥe ‘A man had brought a witness to testify for him against me. But when the witness came to court, it turned out he was not able to lie about me’ (CSOL II 13:25)

b. ṭáhɛr ˁouyέghɛn ˁaf maḥkamáʰ wa-ˀénkaˁ wárakaʰ men maḥkamáʰ ber díˀʸheʰ šɛm de ľóuľi ˁaľí aḷ-fitáľiy ‘He went to the police and obtained a certificate from the police stating that his old name was Ali, not Vitaly’ (CSOL III 9:41)
