ḥómilk ḷe-ḥamár goníyye wa-nuṣṣ wa-tóˀo éraḥ ˁamḳ di-ŝégre aḷ-ˁad éraḥ ľišárḳaḥ ŝégre wa-ˀal-ˀéraḥ díˀʸheʰ be-ˀeḳníyo édofk wa-ˀénḳaṣk ˁãy nuṣṣ di-goníyye kor yešráḳaḥ énhi ˁaf bɛr ‘I loaded a donkey with a full load of a sack and another half-filled sack. When it reached the middle of a mountain pass, it could not go up the mountain pass anymore, and it could not go with its load of foodstuffs. So I reduced its load by taking off the half of a sack, so that it could reach an open place’ (Bulakh et al. 2021:257)
