a. ˁemέroʰ ˁougénoʰ meráḳ di-ṣóde wa-ˀeḷḷéḳoʰ beʸh di-yéŝfef wa-tóˀo fŝέyin wa-ḥoṣírin aḷ-kɔn díˀʸheʰ ḷe-ˀírhɛz wa-ḥaʰ di-ˀaḷ-ˀébaˁ ˁeʸh ˁar ˁam taˁámer sέḳded mes éˀed wa-ḷaṭ ḥer ḫᵃṣar wa-ˀaḷ-ˁod ḥáḷfeʰ ‘My daughter prepared fish broth, and put too many spices in it. When we were about to have our lunch and began pouring the broth on the rice, there wasn’t enough, not for everybody – you might say that her hand was stingy and that’s why the broth was scanty and couldn’t cover all the rice’ (CSOL III 14:41)
