ŝínik ˁag di-gédaḥ men ľéḥe yóˁod wa-yešonígin ˁámok hɔ́ten mɔn de ˁag di-yóˁod wa-yešonígin men ľéḥe ˁémer ɛ mey šɛnígo di-fᵉľan wa-tóˀo éraḥ ḳáˁar ˁámok hey hɔ ifúḷ ṭa tóʕod wa-tšonígin ˁö́mor yɔ ḥérek ḷaḥrέ men éľľehe be-ˀigľíso di-ˁam ḷe-ˁóŝi tóˀo ftɛyk emríro wa-ḷaṭ rézaḥk wa-ˀö́ẓ̂aḥk ŝérhon men ḳáŝre di-ˀigľíso tóˀo ṭebk tos ‘I saw a man who was coming from below, and he was dozing off while walking. I said: “Oh people—who is that man who is coming from below, and he is dozing off while walking?” They said: “Judging from his drowsing gait, it must be so-and-so.” When he reached the house, I said to him: “Hey! Why are you dozing off while walking?” He said: “I was trying to find a cow on the plateau from the early morning, when I had a bite. Now I’m tired and my feet hurt me because of the sharp stones on the plateau—as you can imagine”’ (Naumkin et al. 2022:273)
