a. aḷ-ŝínik di-ber ḥékem meʸh gɛˀέḷoʰ šebóbeʰ ‘Don’t you see that he has become old, there is nothing left of the youth (lit. his youth has disappeared).’ (Naumkin–Kogan 2021:527)
b. yómen ˁö́mor di-yaˁseyéten aˀḥ dédoʰ ˁéyyek ḷaḥtón wa-ʸheʰ šabb ḥadd aš-šabóbeʰ ‘One day Little Isa said: “Oh uncle! I want to be circumcised!” Now he was a lad, in the prime of his youth’ (CSOL II 8:13)
