a. áwwaľ ez-zemán ˁag méskin yeḥódem ḷe-ḳaḥf wa-ráṭaľ ˁibáraʰ díˀʸheʰ ḷe-fŝo wa-díˀʸheʰ ḷe-taẓ̂ímoʰ ‘In times of old, there lived a poor man who worked for his daily bread, that is, for his lunch and his dinner’ (CSOL I 25:2)
