énkaˁ ˁag ˁáni di-tɔ́mer di-ṣaˁaḳhéten diˀáḷ ˁéyyog wa-deʰ ˁag di-ˀénkaʕ tɔ́mer meʸh ŝéˁe négdihi wa-deʰ tɔ́mer di-ˀenkéˁeʸh meʸh ŝéˁe di-men ŝέte wa-tóˀo ḳö́ṣem ˁéyyog dótḥer wa-yešdeféren ‘A man brought a leather bag full of excellent (lit. famous) dates (as a gift) to some people. And the appearance of the man who brought the dates was like one from Noged, whereas the dates which he brought were like the dates from the northern plain. As the men were having breakfast (and were eating the dates), they differed in their views (as to what was the origin of the dates)’ (Bulakh 2024:167)
