a. eghómen érhon wa-tóˀo neḳár šérḳaḥ mésen míˀšer férhɛ men-ˁamḳ wa-résen be-ˀö́bhon wa-máḥṣaṣ ˁaf yešéḳer ‘We gathered our goats, but when we started to put them into the pen, one particularly wild billy goat ran away. We threw stones and pebbles at it until we managed to get it in’ (CSOL I 8:33)

b. wa-gedóḥoʰ ginníyeʰ teḳaḷáˁki wa-térses be-ˀö́bhon ˁaf teṣábaḥ ‘A ginniyya came and hurled and threw stones at us until morning’ (CSOL I 8:33)
