énkaˁk dárwa di-beˁér e-díˀyho di-ḥaḷf wa-díˀyho be-ḥaḷf íno ḥoz di-ẓ̂áˀte merέŝi wa-ˀíno méyhen ḷe-ˁóber di-ṭoḳ ḥoz di-ˀerbóˁo merέŝi wa-kse tho ˁag menáḷ ešodíˀin wa-ˁámor énhi aḷ-teššɛdíˀin wa-ˀaḷ-tóˁod hek ḥáḷfe ˁámok aḷ-ˀešodíˀins di-ˁóber di-ṭoḳ wa-šódik tos iḷ-ḳáˁyhɛr έhɛ ľhe íḷḥan waštédyo énhi ˁámor ˁag aḷ-ˀéẓ̂ẓ̂aḷk tóˀo fö́ṣadk ˁan nhɔfk ḳáˁyhɛr ľhɛg ‘I brought a camel hump to my place (to be cooked and eaten). And in my village there are three houses, and there are also a few houses on the other side, four in number. And as I was dividing the meat, a man came and told me: “It cannot be divided properly, and it will not be enough for all of the houses (lit. it will not go anywhere)”. I said: “I am not going to apportion anything to the houses on the other side”. So I divided it for the houses which are on our side, and it was divided well. The man said: “You did well (lit. you have not done wrong) when you excluded the other houses”’ (Bulakh 2024:214)
