a. ḥérek ḷaḥrέ men ṭad mesmár ḷenfáˁ beʸh wa-ʸheʰ rotéẓ̂ef ˁeʸh marábiˁ wa-ˁabóhor wa-bíššoḷ be-ḳáneʰ di-móḫzen ḥérek ḷeḳέrbɛḷ meʸh wa-ˀaḷ-kések ken marábiˁ wa-bíššoḷ di-déḷeḳ ‘I tried to find a crowbar to work with it, but there were a lot of square-sawn timber and wooden beams and some things heaped upon it (the crowbar) in the storehouse. I tried to search for it, but I did not find it among the square-sawn timber and many other things’ (Bulakh 2024:129–130)

b. wa-díˀʸheʰ ḷe-ḥᵃḷe fatédak mésmar deʰ di-mέgmokk beʸh wa-ratéẓ̂foʰ óˀoben ḷe-ˁag ‘As he was putting the pebbles, the crowbar, with which I was poking out the stone, slipped, and the stone fell down upon the (hand of) the man’ (Bulakh 2024:108)
