b. énkaˁk erbáˁa eṣḥíne di-ˀírhɛz wa-tɛ wa-ŝe (e)ṣḥíne méyhen téyob sewehéten wa-tóˀo kobk tóyhen diˀáḷ ˁéyyog id-maḥẓ̂ará ŝink tóyhen tóˀo rotéde id-ṭad di-ṣáḥan ˁámok ˁéyhen retedíken diyáˁa yáˁŝo trɔ méken ˁad eṣḥíne wa-tíyob seˀhéten fáḥre ˁémer aḷ-retídin diḷáḳo ˁafíye waˁáden ke ˁegében nešmaṭíˀin kénken ‘I brought four plates with rice and meat, and the portions arranged on these plates were equal. As I brought them to the people, to the (guest hall) where they were assembled,I saw that therewere too many people around one of the plates. I told them: “You are too many, this is not alright. Let two of you rise (and go to another plate): there are other plates, and all the portions are equal”. They answered:“We are nottoo many, and there is plenty of food. If necessary, we will reach out and take some food from your plate”’ (Bulakh 2024:212)
