a. édofk ḷe-ṭarb di-ṣafáḳa di-ṣóteb wa-ˀéṣṭeb wa-ˀegrέfifk toy kor aˁámerš meŝíyo ‘I took a stalk of a nettle (Tragia balfouriana) which was straight, and I bent it into a circle to make a bucket’ (Bulakh 2024:197)

b. ṣebk ker ḥarf di-ṣáˁanhin ˁaf ešráḳaḥ di-bɛr wa-tóˀo éraḥk bɛr wa-ˁö́ẓ̂afk ŝínik bekéľe di-ˀeḳˁaynéno wa-tóˀo ebdédo wa-šaṭíˀo ṭay ber íno ḥa múḫloḳ ṣatébo (or: ṣébo) di-(ye)fóne berέged ‘I was going straight along a mountain slope to the top, till I came up to the top. When I reached the top, and (sat down to have a bit of) rest, I saw a snake which was coiled. When it felt and smelled that there was a man there, it went straight ahead to a hollow in a mountain’ (Bulakh 2024:197)
