a. wa-ˀéndakk nɔ́fin e-ḫádem ˁasέ yéken meʸh mébrehe wa-ˀaḷ-ľizˁó kénhi díˀʸho mɛľ wa-kank ɛʰ ‘So I gave myself up to one of his servants, with the hope that I would have a child and my belongings would not be taken from me. That child was you’ (CSOL I 17:57)

b. aḷ-ˁad kaḷ ḷe-fŝo wa-ḷe-taẓ̂ímoʰ náˁaʰ ˁéyyek ḷeṣmέ wéľľe ľákɛn še mɛľ ‘For nothing else, only my lunch and my dinner. Now I either want to die or let me have money!’ (CSOL I 25:9)
