When we leave to go up to the hills (to the countryside, where we usually spend a part of the year), this weed becomes abundant, and a person cannot put his foot (on the ground) because of this thorny weed. Finally we exterminated it all by pulling it out together with its roots. And the women (from the neighbourhood) helped me—may God preserve them!’ (Bulakh 2024:188)
