irέmo gínniye maḥáŝe ḷe-ḥa be-gö́ˀo di-ˁéṣrɛ kóusɛ ke-nešéte wa-ke-ˀeẓ̂ími wa-ke íno di-nέhɛr ḷe-boḳ wa-ˀaḷ-bigö́ˁo bey teḳáḷesš ŝéˁro men ri ˁaf híbaḥ ˁaṭáf otébed έˀɛfo mey de ḥaḷf wa-tóˀo ɛtébdo koténeḥ díˀʸhen di-ḥaḷf ‘There was a terrible ginni woman there, in Goˀo di-ˁEṣrɛ, and it was present there day and night. If there was somebody passing by there and she did not meet him directly, all the hair on his body from head till heels (lit. to the lower part) would still be raised from fear. Finally, all the people disappeared from this area. Only when she died, they came back to their land’ (Bulakh 2024:187)
