a. ˁö́mor fedέ ˁemέroʰ aˀḥ bέbɛʰ aḷ-fedέ ˁéyyek ho heʸh bɛr di-ˀegέḷed šker 'He said: “It's nothing.” But she said: “Oh father! It's not nothing – I want him! He is so nice, the son of Cowhide'” (CSOL II 1:133)

b. aˁtéṭaš di-ˁag deʰ di-beʸh taḥássus be-náḥrer wáľľa šódhir yeˁágob ľaˁtéṭaš wa-faḳḥ men aˁtéṭaš di-baḷ kᵉreʰ tenέhɛrš iẓ̂ríṭoʰ yešmέtol nhɔfš yeˁámer fᵉdɛ ‘Sneezing of a man who has allergy in his nose or a cold in the head is unavoidable: he will sneeze constantly.
