ḥérek ḷetέˀtɛ ṭey men díˀyho ḥiẓ̂áre di-ˀaḷ-táˁŝe fɔ́ne men ḥa ˁámok ľázem šedfóˁo be-bɛhɛḷéno ḳarére ŝínik be-kɛndhíyo di- ḳɔn áˁreb wa-souˁído žerk ˁaf boḳ wa-ksek tos bikέmo ŝérhon wa-ˀaḷ-šéˁed hes ḷaˁmírin ber gɛrb ‘I tried (in vain) to call one of my house-goats who’d never wandered away from here before. And I said to myself: “It must have stumbled on something.” The next day, I saw ravens and vultures at the foot of a steep mountain. I rushed there and found my goat was limping, unable to walk.
