ˁodk ˁaf aˀáraḥ ˁamḳ di-ḥádeb kések bekéľeʰ wa-ḥérek men márḳaḥ kor eḷátaˁs ferέdoʰ kénhi di-néḳheľ wa-gámaḥk mes dénob baḷ tekέb fáḥre wa-ˁenk beʸh emhɛydédo ˁaf téken tóˀo rabľ di-ˀimhídid wa-ˀaḷ-šerḳóḥoʰ ‘I walked along the road and midway along I came across a snake. I started to look for a stick to kill it, but the snake fled from me to a hole. I caught it by its tail before it got all way in and began to pull. The snake stretched until it became as taut as rubber, but it did not get away’ (CSOL II 26:15)
