a. óˀoz deš riˀímeʰ túʸhor díˀseʰ ḷe-ˁífef wa-túʸhor baˁs wa-ˁaf ḷaḷ yeḥóḷeb be-míṣ̌her tegodíḥinš díˀseʰ men ḥaḷf ‘A goat attached to his owner follows its kid and follows its owner, and when he milks his goats in the pen, such a goat comes over to him on its own’ (CSOL II 8:9)

b. wa-ˀérhon neḳéḷen mésen deš di-ˁáḷhoʰ wa-máˁḷeʰ šiš béne wa-riˀímeʰ ‘Among the goats, they’d pick out the best, the most loved by him and which were most attached to him’ (CSOL II 8:9)
