1. wa-ḷaṭ záˁayk méʸhen medekéryhon kor eṣaḷébʸhen ber érhon aḷ-eṭˁémoʰ ‘Then I took out the male kids to slaughter them because (our) she-goats had little milk’ (Naumkin–Kogan 2021:530)

2. yhéḳaḷk ˁaf egodíḥin diˀáḷ ˁífof id-ḥor wa-ḳáˁayk ˁéyhen wa-ḷaṭ záˁayk méyhen medekéryhon kor eṣaḷébyhen ber érhon aḷ-ˀeṭˁémo  šin kédomk  ẓ̂áˀte id-góniye wa-trɔ béḷokk tóyhi kor youyhέro men ḥérhen wa-tóˀo éraḥk ˁamḳ di-ˁésrɛ aḷ-ˁédo youyhέro édofk ḷe-ṭad wa-ḥefk toy wa-ṭad ˁö́ṭabk toy ḷe-ˁáreb ‘I went down until I got to my little goat-kids in a shelter. I let them out and then picked up the male kids to slaughter because our goats had no milk (to feed the kids, the male ones in particular). I put three of them in a sack and let two follow me from behind. Midway along, in a grove, they stopped following me, so I had to take one in my arms and put another on my neck’ (CSOL III 13:18)
