a. ḥaʰ bor wa-ḥaʰ írhɛz wa-ḥaʰ šέhi wa-ḥaʰ súkkar wa-ḥaʰ šarabát wa-ḥaʰ tɔ́mer ‘There is wheat, there is rice, there is tea, there is sugar, there are various drinks, and there are dates.’ (CSOL I 29:38)

b. ṭahέrki ho wa-ṭadˁag wa-šíki kúľľeʰ ṭad ḥumár di-ḥémɛḷ ˁeʸh góniyeʰ di-súkkar ‘I set off together with another man, and each of us had a donkey loaded with a sack of sugar.’ (CSOL II 5:16)
