a. wa-tóˀo eróḥoʰ ˁamḳ di-ḳar ḷaḥágoʰ aḷ-seʰ nɛhɛ́roʰ id-mɛr wa-ˀaḷ-seʰ šerḳóḥoʰ di-tɛr ‘When it (lime) reached the middle of his throat, it got stuck there. It could neither pass through to his stomach nor come out of his throat.’ (CSOL I 12:9)
b. kerámme ḳéṣaˁk be-rénhem ˁaf ľiráḥ hek rího ḳar enɛdáḳoʰ hek díˀki mɛľ fáḥre ‘If you manage to stand in the sea with the water up to your throat, we (du.) shall give you all of our money!’ (CSOL I 16:4)
