Also in Arb. šidq- ‘the quivering flesh of the mouth, inside the two cheeks’, Mhr. ŝadḳ ‘inside of the cheek, from and including the corner of the mouth’, Jib. ŝɛdḳ id.. An Arabism in MSA is not unlikely.
