a. éḳdomk ˁag di-góḥoŝ ḷe-ŝéṭaf ˁámok heʸh ˁa-tegḥáŝ gedóḥoʰ ẓ̂erégeʰ di-mέsɛ ‘I saw a man who was uncovering the halved dates. I told him: Do not take the covering off, a blast of rain is approaching’ (field notes)

b. kɔn šin bέˀi wa-ŝíṭaf wa-kíľaˁ beʸh di-mésṭaḥ wa-gédaḥ mέsɛ wa-keḷö́we ˁéʸhen  ḫéymeʰ tóˀo ṣiḥíyoʰ ˁímɛr góuḥoŝ ˁéʸhen ḫéymeʰ ‘We had dates which were halved and put to the drying place. Then it started to rain, and a tent was put upon them (the halved dates). When it cleared up, it was said: The tent should be taken off from them’ (field notes)
