ho zóriḥk ˁéʸhi ˁámok áḷaˁ bíki ḷe-tenhέroʰ tho wa-šezɛríḥin ho di-men ˁamḳ di-gezíreʰ múgšem men γarbíyyeʰ wa-férhem men ḥadíboʰ wa-nέhɛrk tóʸhi ṭad ˁábleṭ ‘I challenged them (du.) and told: “It is impossible for you to surpass me”. So we competed: I, from the middle of the island, and a boy from the Western part, and a girl from Hadibo, and I surpassed them one time’ (Naumkin et al. 2019b:83–84)
