                    etymology

The verb ṭábaḥ is a metathetic variant with exactly the same meaning (“to lie on one’s belly”) of the verb bṭḥ ‘se coucher, s’étendre’ (LS 85) attested once in the Vienna corpus (Kogan 2015:510). Cf., however, a non-metathetic variant báṭaḥ.
