wa-sen ŝouṭáren wa-ḥouyáṭen kor tekénen tóˀo méškeľ wa-tšenafáˁan wa-kor di-nikέdoʰ men béšrɛʰ tenέkod díˀseʰ di-meˁéfen 'These (the rags and the sacks) are cut into pieces and then sewn together to become a covering; this is done with care so that if some of the ripe dates fall, they fall into these protective sacks' ( CSOL II 11:5)

‘To deteriorate, to get worse’:  wa-men ḳarére míˀšer ˁod wa-néked ˁaf aḷ-ˁad yíken tóˀo di-fɔ́ne ‘And starting from the next day the billy goat got worse and worse (with regard to its health) and finally it was not anymore as it used to be’ (field notes).
