a. naˁámer bíľeʰ di-ˀaḷ-šenfóˀoʰ tóˀo bená kaḷ šénfaˁ wa-tóˀo ˁaḷm di-ḳénho wa-tóˀo ḥíṣoʰ di-fíḳha kaḷ šénfaˁ naˁámer heʸh eŝˁínin ‘We say about something that is not done well – when a building is not done well, or branding of livestock, or sewing a garment is not done well – we say about it: it is frayed’ (CSOL III 10:10)
b. ˁö́mor wa-ḷaṭ tšáḳam ḷe-ḥíṣoʰ ˁaf ˁamḳ di-ḥteʰ wa-ḷaṭ tédom ‘And he continued: “Then she stays awake until the middle of the night sewing, and only then does she go to sleep’ (CSOL II 15:23)
