1. wa-ˁeŝk wa-yháḷaḥk wa-ḥéraṭk toyʰ ḷe-maˁṭíro wa-ˀédof wa-fɛ́rfer feʰ ˁaf ebáraḥ be-ṭádaˁ di-ˀáˁanhɛ di-tɔ́mer ‘I stood up, leapt to him, and seized him by the waist. But he shoved me aside so that I tumbled down on the date skins stored there’ (CSOL I 28:42);

2. ksek ˁag dírhi wa-ˁámok hey enɛzέko di-ḳáˁar wa-fέrfer feʰ wa-ˀaḷ-tómiˁ ʸhéḳaḷ ľeḥé wa-ˁö́ṭab díˀʸheʰ šɛľ ḷe-ˁáreb ‘I met a stranger and said to him: “Let’s go to the house.” But he refused, didn’t want to go. Then he went down with his shawl on his shoulders’ (CSOL I 28:19).
