a. éghomk érhon wa-bésen óˀoz ṭáḥrer wa-tóˀo šéḳer di-míṣ̌her ʸheḷóḥoʰ ṭáḥrer ḷe-ˁarɛ́beʰ ˁaf tšeraḳóḥoʰ mes farsíti ḷe-ˁarɛ́beʰ wa-ḷoyk bes ‘I gathered the goats, and there was a semi-wild one among them. When they were brought into the pen, that goat jumped onto the wall and got its shoulders above it, but eventually I caught it’ (CSOL I 2:37)
b. ḥére ľiˀɛgémes ḷe-ker ˁároyb wa-ḷe-ker égnihin wa-ˀéḳdomk ḷe-ˀéľľehe tóˀo toˁobíẓ̂in ḷe-ˁároyb ˁaf tešráḳaḥ id-bɛr ‘They tried to drive it against walls and fences, but I saw how the cow would jump over the walls and finally got itself into an open space’ (CSOL II 24:12b)
