Direct parallels are attested in the continental MSA and in Arabic: Mhr. γōreb ‘cameľs back and neck in front of the hump’, Jib. γarb id., Arb. γārib- ‘the part between the hump and the neck (in a camel)’. See further SED I No. 107.
