a. wa-ˁúḳaḷ beʸh ḥoz di-ḥímeʸh énhor wáľľa ḥoz di-subúˁ wa-yeˀóuṭab kor yoˀókebš dor di-ḳaľífoʰ wa-yeḷkídid wa-yáˁẓ̂eẓ̂ wa-yaˁfírir ‘Then it (the hide) is left thus for five days to a week, and beaten to make the sap from the bark penetrate it, so that it becomes compact, hard and red’ (CSOL II 9:18)
