ḥéyhe ḷaḷ yaˀáraḥ ḥoz di-ḥkmo taˁasáḳo mey ˁáyni wa-ˀaḷ-ˁad yeŝóni di-ráḥaḳ kaḷ kέrhen yegɛhírin di-šéˀke ‘When somebody reaches the old age, his eyes become dull and he cannot see far off, and it is with difficulty that he sees what is near him’ (CSOL III 31:7)
