yeˁúmor fɔ́ne sáṭahan ḷaḷ yaḥkóm tšeráḳaḥš ŝéˁe di-ˀensáḷṭehin wa-yhe yaḥkóm be-ˁadľ wa-di-ˀaḷ-šέˀi yenṣaḥídin hey wa-ḳádom ˁey tóˀo šerḳóḥotš ŝéˁe wa-yešóbeṭ ˁãyš ľhe di-yeẓ̂ḷéḷ déro ‘As they say, in bygone times when the sultan was giving judgement, the force of the sultan’s dignity would (suddenly) emerge in him, and he would judge justly. And if somebody did not put attention, he would infuriate against him and look at him while his force was apparent on him, so that all those who were spoiling the (people’s) life were afraid of him’ (CSOL III 31:7)
