ḷe-ˁóŝi ṭáhɛr ˁag wa-ḥeŝ menáḷ yáḥŝeŝ šédfaˁ mešedfíˁo di-ˁayn ˁíyyɛn menáḷ báḳiľ tóˀo ŝíno ˁey góˁor wa-ˀetóˀotš ˁayn ḳeḷóˁo bey ‘In the morning, the man left and went out to roam around. While he was roaming, he got stricken by the evil eye: the evil eye was cast upon him while he was going here and there. His wife saw he was ill (when he returned home) because the evil eye had struck him, and she left him’ (CSOL III 17:3)
