ḷaḷ aˀáraḥ mésen móḳrif wa-ˀešaṭíˀin mésen ṭay wa-ˀekóse mésen ŝáˁyhor be-maˁẓ̂ádi wa-mésen ḳérhon ḷe-mekṭáre tedɛrέgo ménhi ˁáyni be-ˀódmiˁ ‘When I come to the sleeping place of my goats, and smell their smell, and find their (shorn) hair in the door jamb , and the trimmed tips of their horns at the fire-pit, the tears flow down from my eyes’ (CSOL III 15:7)
