a. égoš ˁag be-meṣ̌ífoʰ ˁaf yedáwaḫ wa-saˁk ˁeʸh rího... wa-ḷaṭ nö́foš ‘A man bumped against the lintel and fainted. I poured some water upon him... And then he revived’ (field notes)

b. ḥágeb di-ʸhenö́we wa-ṣáme wa-ḳíľaˁ beʸh ˁam ʸheʰ nö́foš érḳaḥ ḥéṣeʰ ‘A palm shoot was planted and got dry, and thrown away, but one day it revived and put forth leaves’ (field notes)
