a. éḳdomk ˁag di-yóˁod wa-yeṭáred wa-yeľégen ḷe-ker tέbhor wa-yešḥarísin wa-šáˁik wa-ˀö́ṣaḷk ˁeʸh ‘I saw a man go and pursue (a goat). He was rushing over a slope and shouting for help. I ran towards him and helped him’ (CSOL III 27:38)

b. tóudof deš órem ˁaf teráḥ boḳ tóˁif kenk órem tezáˁa díˀɛʰ ḷe-ˀímhɛḷ teḷégen díˀɛʰ ḷe-gédoʰ ḳádom ḷe-ḳouˁároʰ be-kɛndhíyo di-méḳhim ‘Take this road. When you come over there, the road will disappear from you, then take to your right and rush straight forward. In the end you will see a little house at the bottom of a gorge’ (CSOL III 27:38)

c. ḥérek ḷeṣtát maḷ ˁak eṭaḳíˁin éḳdomk ˁeʸh tóˀo ber yeľégen di-fóne ṭeʸh ˁésrɛʰ di-šerḥóḳoʰ ‘I looked up carefully and saw the billy-goat move in the direction of a far-away grove’ (CSOL III 27:38)
