ˁaf ḷaḷ yaˀáraḥ ˁíyaḳ tŝóni ˁey tóˀo yekoľíˀin díˀyhe sámaḷ wa-yhe yaˁámer kebɛb ˁar tóˀo yekoľíˀinš yefáẓ̂ag bey id-fíľɛg wa-ṭaḥ yezóhor wa-yésḥaṭ ker gáḥi id-gέme ‘When it reaches the pools (in the stream bed), you see how it whirls debris and makes foam. And as it whirls the debris, it hurls it out onto the raised ground along the wadi or else it continues downward, sweeping it along’ (CSOL III 20:13)
