ḳéyyod ľheʰ di-ḥóuṣeḳ ḷaḷ yéntfer ḷe-zébreher ḳayd di-miˀmímoʰ aḷ-yeŝˁínin wa-ḳayd aḷ-ḥtmi yeŝˁínin wa-ḳayd di-neyľón yeŝˁínin kaḷ ˁímɛr ˁeʸh ŝiyáṭ ḷe-zébreher kor aḷ-ľiŝˁínin ‘Plaited ropes vary. When a knot is untied at the end of a rope, a woolen rope does not fray; but a rope made of palm fiber frays, and a nylon rope frays unless fire is applied to the tip to prevent it from fraying’ (CSOL III 10:10)
