ˁámok wa-ˀifúḷ šóugɛ ḥóuzoz ˁam tšéreṭ ˁímɛr tṣóḥor wa-ḷaṭ ḥóugor ˁes ˁaf tenḳáˁ díˀseʰ šáṭar wa-ḷaṭ tḥᵃzez keʰ ˁéyyek wa-keʰ ˁéyyek teráˁa ‘I said: “And what to do? Should it (the cow) be slaughtered or can the foot be set again?” They said: “Cauterize it, then it should be watched for a while, until it weans its calf. Then you may slaughter it if you wish or may pasture it if you wish”’ (CSOL III 30:44)
