1. géšoḷ ṭad ľoḥ wa-ˁemέreʸh móḳdif wa-yeḳádef beʸh wa-yešḥaḷéfen ˁeʸh deʰ móḳdif ˁaf yeˀóreḥ bar di-saḳɔ́ṭri ‘He broke one board and made an oar out of it, and he rowed with it, and they were rowing in turns with this oar till they reached the Soqotri shore’ (field notes)
